Here's my first view of the crowd, after getting off the 38 Geary on Bush street and Kearny.

This is Mike. We went to Reed together and I ran into him on the 38 Geary. He came up from LA with about ten friends to march.
The march started at the Ferry Building at the end of Market (the white steeple in the distance), and we're about halfway to the finish.
I don't know who this man is, but I gave him a bagel.
Some people created trains of small prayer-like flags. Kids sat on their parent's shoulders. At this point, the crowd is approaching Civic Center, which was absolutely packed.
