Congratulations Neal!
I would recommend Rome, there is so much to do there, and the lines are much better than the other places we went to (Florence, Venice). Venice is “romantic”, but it is sort of like a big disneyland. Plus there is tons of standing really nasty water. And mosquitoes! In rome, you can just wonder up to the Colliseum. And the Vatican! And perhaps see the pope!
