Ron Popiel is more to me then just a pop icon, much like Tom Peterson*,
he is sort of a minor diety. Whenever I see him on the late-night television,
I go into fits of pleasure. The sound of his voice is harmonius. His face
is not beautiful in the way that conventional people consider beauty. It
is the contorted face of genius. Years of torment at the hands of critics
have hardened his features and made him statue-like. He is more then a man,
he is part god. Hercules has nothing on him.
If I had the means, I would buy his products with wild abandon. The food
dryer, the slicer, the ever famous hair spray. Wow! I'm more than impressed,
I am possessed by his charm.
