October 23st 1996:The Center of Attention | |
![]() | |
Being the Center of attention is difficult. You must be in the spotlight, without actually revealing much at all. You are "shallow," "vain," "self-important," "stuck up," a "bitch," a "jerk." But no one really knows you. Your dominating personality precludes you from true friendship. You are all alone while being surrounded by yes-men and women. Yes you are. No they aren't. You want to know them, but more importantly you want them to know you. You want them to see your flaws, your imperfections. But to do so will destroy your facade. Better to suffer in silence then to risk it.
