Mimiya C-220

Here is my new camera. I got it at the annual camera swap meet at the Lane County Fairgrounds for $325. When I entered the swap-meet, I was amazed by the selection of cameras there. I listened to the buyers and sellers and for a while, it really bothered me because I really didn't know as much about cameras and camera equipment that I thought I did.

Anyway, I figured that I should buy a good camera and so I did. I bought a Mimiya C-220. It is nice because it has a bellows rather then a less flexible focus range. I don't necessarily enjoy the Idea of figuring in bellows factor, but it I've done it before with extremely close work on the 4x5 view camera. That of course was the other option when I was there was to buy a view camera, but I decided that I actually want to make exposures in a fair amount of time rather then fiddling.

I am doing fine, and I hope to be shooting again as soon as the weather worsens. It is sunny dow here, and I prefer the weather when it is overcast and the contrast is low.

Well, that's it for me today. I'm about ready to turn into a pumpkin.
